Alphamin’s vision is to realise the full value potential of the world’s richest known tin resource complex.
The company has enormous potential, consisting of two exploration licenses and one current mining license in the North Kivu province of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The tin deposits at Bisie occur at the boundary between the Meta Sediments and an Intrusive Tin Granite. Soil sampling and Geophysics studies of the area have indicated locations with the same metrics in terms of tin in soil anomalies and geophysical signatures as those to Mpama North and South. These will be further refined to produce drill targets to inform a regional drilling program. Underground drilling at depth at Mpama North and South is considered low-hanging fruit in terms of high impact exploration in search of resource.
Alphamin is generating healthy profits from an established footprint (Mpama North) with additional capacity added in the 2024 financial year (Mpama South), enabling the company to produce 20,000 tonnes per annum of contained tin at an estimated AISC of approximately $15,000 per tonne (depending on the prevailing tin price). The company’s current focus is on optimizing both processing plants for improved recoveries, whilst evaluating the potential of adding extra production from nearby tin deposits through continued exploration activities (finding the next mine).
Alphamin’s objective is to increase output at competitive incremental unit costs for many years to come, which will enable the company to invest excess cash in growth projects. Alphamin focuses on cash flow generation and has been distributing semi-annual dividends to shareholders for a number of years.
