Projects Neuquén SEDEX Project
Alphamin has filed applications for 3 cateos (mineral exploration concessions) in the province of Neuquén, Argentina in 2006. The concessions total 14,465 hectares in area.

The newly acquired concessions are situated in an area underlain by sedimentary strata that, based on field examinations conducted by the Company in September of 2006, have characteristics and similarities to basins that host sedimentary-exhalative ("SEDEX") zinc-lead-silver deposits.

SEDEX deposits are one of the main suppliers of zinc and lead to the global economy. The median tonnage for this type of deposit, on a worldwide basis, is 15 million tonnes with average grades of 5.6% zinc, 2.8% lead and 30 grams/tonne silver. At current metal prices the per tonne value of ore for median SEDEX deposits is in excess of $US250. Examples of these deposits occur in British Columbia, Canada at Cirque, Sullivan, Driftpile; in Yukon at Faro, Grum, Dy, Vangorda, Swim, Tom and Jason; in Alaska at Red Dog; in Australia at McArthur River and Mt. Isa; and in Germany at Meggen and Rammelsberg.

The Company intends to initiate program of stream sediment sampling and prospecting in the near future. The object of this work will be to test the concession areas for SEDEX deposits. Potential also exists for locating molybdenum deposits associated with some of the granitic bodies that have intruded the sediments.
